Mission

The mission of the Amigos de Osuna is to promote the preservation and restoration of our community’s historic Osuna Ranch; to foster and support research into its heritage; and to encourage the appreciation of the local history in order to keep our rich past in the present.

Goals

To rehabilitate, preserve, and maintain the Osuna Ranch

To provide historical and archaeological interpretation of Osuna Ranch and its cultural landscape

To provide opportunities for research and education in the history of Osuna Ranch and early Rancho Santa Fe

Strategies

Enlist and organize the support of Members in comprehensive planning recommendations to the Association Board of Directors for preservation and restoration of the Osuna Adobe

Further identify and obtain public and private funding to rehabilitate and maintain the historic structures and grounds

Develop docent and other education programs and opportunities based on the historical interpretation of the site for the Rancho Santa Fe community
