The Rancho Santa Fe Protective Covenant provides the Board of Directors of the Association the authority to adopt such regulations as are necessary to carry out the Covenant's objectives. The Board has exercised this authority over the years to produce and update a body of regulations covering a wide span of issues. In 1993, the Board of Directors embarked on the processes of assembling these regulations into a single unified Regulatory Code, which was completed in 1995 and last revised in 1998.

These regulations are subject to amendment at any time.
